Job summary

Engage Education Ltd in Hounslow is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with SEN in a primary school. You will work 1:1 or in small groups to access the curriculum and assist teachers with differentiated activities.

This long-term, temp-to-perm role runs 08:30 am – 3:30 pm and offers a supportive environment with strong focus on pupil wellbeing and progress. The ideal candidate has SEN experience, a Level 2 or 3 TA qualification (preferred), and speaks with patience

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN in a school or educational setting
• Level 2 or 3 TA qualification preferred
• Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for helping children achieve their potential
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups to access the curriculum
• Assisting teachers with differentiated learning activities and interventions
• Helping create an inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive
• Supporting pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs as part of a structured SEN programme
