Job summary

Milk Education is looking for passionate Learning Support Assistants in Leatherhead to support children with Special Educational Needs in specialist SEN schools. The role involves working under the guidance of teachers and therapists to provide tailored support to help pupils overcome barriers to learning.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people, preferably in a school or care setting.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Ability to build positive relationships with children.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
• Encourage participation and engagement in lessons.
• Assist with sensory and therapeutic activities.
