Job summary

Carshalton, Sutton-based school is seeking a dedicated 1-1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs, helping them access the curriculum and thrive within an inclusive classroom.

Ideal candidates will have SEN experience, Level 2 or 3 TA qualification, patience and adaptability, and the ability to collaborate with teachers and support staff; DBS checks and safeguarding commitment are required.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups to access the curriculum
• Assisting teachers with differentiated learning activities and interventions
• Helping create an inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive
• Supporting pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs as part of a structured SEN programme
