Job summary

Henry Blue Ltd is seeking a dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Learning Support Assistant to help pupils with additional learning needs reach their full potential. You will work closely with teaching staff to deliver tailored support and promote independence, confidence, and personal development.

This role offers a full-time, permanent position in Northampton, starting ASAP, with a 37-hour week and a pay rate of £13.56 per hour.

Responsibilities

Provide individual and small-group support to pupils with special educational needs.
Assist teachers in delivering engaging and accessible learning activities.
Adapt support to meet individual pupils' learning, communication and developmental needs.
Encourage positive behaviour, participation and independence in the classroom.
Support pupils' social, emotional and personal development.
Help maintain a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Monitor pupils' progress and communicate observations to teaching staff.
Work collaboratively with teachers and other support professionals to ensure pupils receive appropriate assistance.
Promote positive relationships and encourage pupils to develop confidence and self-esteem.
