Aspire People is recruiting a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEND in a school in Kettering, Northamptonshire. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm, ASAP start.

You will provide one-to-one and small-group support, assist teachers with activities, encourage positive behaviour and create a safe, inclusive learning environment to help pupils reach their potential. Experience with SEND is desirable; a patient, caring approach and strong communication

Qualifications

SEN Teaching Assistant - Full-Time Opportunity

Are you a caring, patient and reliable SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding full-time role in Kettering?


We are recruiting a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) within a school in Kettering, Northamptonshire.


Offering £95-£105 per day, this opportunity is ideal for someone passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning, develop their confidence and reach their full potential.


You will work alongside teachers and other support staff to provide tailored assistance, encourage positive behaviour and create a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment.


Please note: This is a full-time position only, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm.


The Role

  • Following school policies and safeguarding procedures.


What We Are Looking For


  • Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEND, which is desirable.

  • A patient, caring and understanding approach.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils.

  • Confidence adapting to different learning and behavioural needs.

  • A reliable, professional and proactive attitude.

  • A genuine commitment to supporting children's development.

  • Availability to work full-time, Monday to Friday.

  • Experience supporting pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH, communication difficulties or complex learning needs would be advantageous.


Pay, Hours and Location


  • Daily pay: £95-£105.

  • Working hours: 8:30am-3:30pm.

  • Working days: Monday to Friday.

  • Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire.

  • Working pattern: Full-time.

  • Start date: ASAP, subject to availability.
