Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking caring SEN Learning Support Assistants to work in Battersea and across SW11, offering short-term and long-term opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN.
• Patient, resilient and nurturing.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Able to remain calm and adaptable in various situations.
• DBS Update Service on or willing to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEN including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and Speech & Language needs.
• Provide 1:1 and small group support inside and outside the classroom.
• Assist pupils with learning, social development and emotional wellbeing.
• Help implement behaviour and support strategies.
• Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs and other professionals to monitor pupil progress.
