Job summary

TipTopJob in Bromley partners with a prominent Further Education college to recruit a compassionate Learning Support Assistant and First Aider. You will support learners with SEN, helping them achieve EHCP targets and build independent futures within a supportive college environment.

This term-time role requires First Aid certification and Level 2 English and Maths. You will be on-site, collaborate with teaching staff, and assist with personal care and learner safety.

Qualifications

• First Aid certification required or willing to gain
• Level 2 in English and Maths required
• Safeguarding awareness and commitment to learner support

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored educational, personal development, and accessibility support to learners with SEN
• Act as College First Aider and respond to campus medical needs
• Support learners with personal care, mobility needs, and well-being with dignity and respect
• Assist in delivering outcomes outlined in EHCPs and person-centred support plans
• Help students develop self-advocacy, study skills and confidence to access college services
• Collaborate with teaching staff and external key workers to update support plans and report progression
