Job summary

Education Network in Willenhall is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to provide calm, consistent 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with additional needs in a secondary school setting.

A psychology graduate with a 2:2 or above and Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain) will help pupils stay engaged, follow routines, and access learning while working closely with teachers and the SENCO to support progress.

Qualifications

• Degree – 2:2 or above in Psychology or a related subject.
• Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Clear and confident communication, written and verbal.
• Interest in pursuing educational or clinical psychology.
• Commitment to pupil progress and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with additional needs.
• Help pupils stay engaged in lessons and follow routines.
• Build positive relationships with staff and peers; collaborate with teachers and SENCO.
