Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support a Nursery class in Greenwich. The role is full-time and starts ASAP, with an initial temporary contract through the end of the academic year (July 2027) and potential extension or permanent opportunities.

The successful candidate will provide 1:1 SEN support, assist classroom staff, and uphold safeguarding standards. Experience in UK Key Stage 1/2 and recent safeguarding training are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year KS1 or KS2 experience in the UK.
• SEN experience working with children.
• Up to date safeguarding training issued in the last year.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support for SEN pupils.
• Assist classroom staff in a Nursery/SEN setting.
• Uphold safeguarding and promote safe learning environments.
• Support behaviour management and inclusion during lessons.
