Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to support a SEN pupil at a mainstream primary school in West Drayton. This full-time position starts ASAP and runs until July 2026, with potential for extension or a permanent role based on performance.

You will provide 1:1 support, assist with interventions and safeguarding, and help create a positive learning environment. The role is temporary until July 2026, at a daily rate of £100.

ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Prospero Teaching is looking for a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to join their team, full time, ASAP START! The school is a popular mainstream Primary School with a supportive senior leadership team. The school is going from strength to strength and providing training to all staff. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Location - West Drayton, UB7.


• Type of work - LSA - 1:1 support with SEN individuals.

• Hours - 8:30 am - 4pm : Mon - Fri (term time only)

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 1 year Key Stage 1 OR 2 experience in the UK


• SEN experience working with children


• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK


• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application


• Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
