Job summary

Ashby-de-la-Zouch Church of England Primary School is seeking an SEN Learning Support Assistant to join our welcoming team. The role is fixed term until 22 August 2027, 20 hours per week across 39 weeks per year, with a starting date as soon as possible.

The post involves 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs, working under our SENDCo to deliver targeted group interventions. Salary range £11,856–£12,230 and excellent CPD opportunities are offered. Visits welcome.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with young children would be beneficial.
• We welcome applications from those starting or continuing a learning support career.
• Willingness to work 20 hours per week across 39 weeks per year.

Responsibilities

• 1:1 work for pupils with additional needs and working as a team under our SENDCo to support with wider interventions for small groups of learners.
