Job summary

High Ash Church of England Primary School in Great Brickhill, near Milton Keynes, is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to help support learning in EYFS and with pupils with SEND, working with teachers to deliver a caring, inclusive learning environment.

The role involves preparing resources, supporting individuals and groups, supervising playtimes, and helping pupils become independent learners while contributing to a warm, supportive school community.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in EYFS or with children with SEND, particularly ASD.
• Ability to complement teachers and support pupils in classroom, small groups and individually.
• Ability to manage and prepare resources and provide whole-class support.
• Experience supporting vulnerable pupils and raising achievement.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to raise standards for all pupils and underachieving groups.
• Encourage independent learning and support pupil welfare.
• Support inclusion of pupils in all aspects of school life.
