Job summary

Morgan Hunt is recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant (Personal Care) in Harrow. The role focuses on supporting students with SEN, including those needing personal care, through 1:1 and small-group help to access education and develop independence.

You will collaborate with teachers to adapt activities, support communication and emotional regulation, and use equipment such as hoists when needed. This is a long-term, full-time position starting in September with safeguarding in place.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN, care, healthcare, nursery, or similar.
• Patient, empathetic and resilient; strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and undertake training.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN.
• Assist with personal care needs (toileting, feeding, changing, mobility).
• Support students with communication and emotional regulation.
• Work with teachers to adapt learning activities; use specialist equipment as required.
