Job summary

Morgan Hunt is seeking a Learning Support Assistant (Personal Care) in North London to support pupils with SEN. You will assist with personal care, 1:1 and small group sessions, and work with teachers to adapt activities to individual needs.

The role requires patience, empathy, good teamwork and communication, and a willingness to learn and undertake safeguarding and SEN training. A rewarding role in a supportive school environment.

About the Role

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support students with special educational needs (SEN), including those requiring personal care. This is a rewarding role working closely with pupils who may have autism (ASD), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), or physical disabilities, helping them access education and develop independence.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN
• Assist with personal care needs (toileting, feeding, changing, mobility support)
• Support students with communication and emotional regulation
• Work alongside teachers to adapt learning activities
• Use specialist equipment where required (e.g. hoists, sensory tools)
• Promote dignity, independence, and wellbeing at all times
• Monitor and record student progress

About You
