Job summary

Morgan Hunt UK Ltd is recruiting a Personal Care Learning Support Assistant in London (North London) to support learners with SEND and disabilities. The role combines educational assistance with personal care, promoting dignity, safety and positive learning experiences.

You will work with teachers and health professionals, following care plans and safeguarding protocols, to help learners access education and develop independence.

Qualifications

• Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care, SEND, Education, or related field.
• Experience supporting learners with SEND and disabilities.
• Ability to provide personal and intimate care with dignity and respect; safeguarding knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support learners in classroom, vocational, and enrichment activities.
• Provide personal care support including toileting and hygiene.
• Assist with eating, drinking, and feeding programmes.
• Support mobility with safe handling and equipment.
• Follow individual care plans and medical protocols.
• Record safeguarding, welfare, or health concerns.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, healthcare professionals, and families.
• Promote independence and participation in college life.
