The school is committed to providing a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment where every student is supported to develop their confidence, independence and academic potential.

The school takes a personalised approach to education, recognising that every student has different abilities, strengths and learning needs. Staff work closely with pupils, parents, carers and external professionals to provide consistent support and ensure that students receive the appropriate guidance throughout their education.

The School

Students benefit from a broad and balanced curriculum that includes the National Curriculum, alongside personalised learning and enrichment opportunities. Teaching and support are adapted to individual needs, with a strong focus on communication, social development, independence, practical skills and preparation for adulthood.

The school places a strong emphasis on pastoral care and student wellbeing. Staff are expected to build positive relationships with pupils, understand their individual needs and create a calm and supportive learning environment.

The Opportunity

Aspire People are looking to speak with experienced and enthusiastic education professionals who are passionate about working within an SEN environment.

We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates with experience as:

  • SEN Teachers
  • Teaching Assistants
  • Learning Support Assistants
  • Higher Level Teaching Assistants
  • Behaviour Support Workers
  • Experienced education professionals with SEN or autism experience

Experience of working with children or young people with additional needs is desirable. However, candidates with the right attitude, patience, commitment and willingness to learn may also be considered.

What We Are Looking For

The successful candidates will be caring, patient and reliable individuals who are able to build positive relationships with students and work effectively as part of a wider school team.
