At Fresh Start in Education, we’re looking for proactive, person-centred individuals to design and deliver personalised learning sessions that spark curiosity, confidence, and hope for young people with SEN or SEMH needs. Whether exploring Maths during a trip to the shops, unlocking imagination through stories and art, or using gaming to explore Science, you’ll inspire students to rediscover the joy of learning tailored to their interests.

If you have the experience, empathy, and commitment to transform lives and are seeking a flexible role that allows you to meet students’ needs effectively, we would love to hear from you.

The Placements
  • Working with students on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis in their home or a suitable venue around Sunbury-On-Thames.
  • Planning, delivering, or supporting 2-5 sessions weekly, each lasting 3-5 hours during school hours and term-time.
  • Placements organized and supported by our dedicated teams.
  • Bank Staff roles providing short-term provisions, paid via PAYE.
Requirements to Apply
  • Minimum of 2 years’ professional experience working with vulnerable children or young people with additional needs (SEN, SEMH, or other barriers).
  • Experience delivering or supporting numeracy, literacy, and communication skills in creative, practical, and engaging ways.
  • Availability to commit to at least 2 sessions per week (minimum of 2 working days).
  • Practical, up-to-date safeguarding knowledge and a commitment to safety.
