Job summary

Milk Education is seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with additional needs in Reigate and surrounding Surrey. You will provide 1:1 and small-group support, helping learners stay engaged and participate confidently in class.

Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and support teams to foster a safe, inclusive environment that promotes wellbeing and independence for every child.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN is desirable.
• Understanding of additional needs such as Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, communication needs, or learning difficulties.
• Patient, compassionate, and adaptable approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting children and young people.

Responsibilities

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEN.
• Supporting students with their learning, engagement, and classroom participation.
• Working alongside teachers, SENCOs, and wider support teams.
• Supporting pupils with their emotional wellbeing, confidence, and independence.
