Job summary

Teaching Personnel is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist SEN primary school in Salford, starting September 2026. The role is full-time with competitive weekly pay and the chance to support pupils with ASC, ADHD, MLD/SLD, and communication needs.

You will work 1:1 and in small groups, supporting learning activities and promoting independence, social interaction, and confidence. This position offers long-term progression within specialist SEN provisions across Salford and

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children or young people is desirable.

Teaching Personnel is working with a specialist SEN primary school in Salford seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their team this September. You will be supporting pupils with a range of needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD), speech and language needs, sensory processing difficulties, and communication challenges.

This is a rewarding opportunity to help children develop confidence, independence, and essential life skills while supporting them to achieve their full potential both academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities
