Job Title: SEN Learning Support Assistant

SEN Learning Support Assistant
Location: Eastbourne
Pay: £90–£110 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type:Long-Term; Full-Time

Are you kind, patient, and passionate about supporting children with additional needs?

GSL Education are currently seeking nurturing SEN Learning Support Assistants to work in primary schools across Eastbourne. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils in EYFS, KS1, or KS2 with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, or social and emotional challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with SEN

Help children engage with classroom learning and develop social skills

Use visual aids, sensory tools, and structured routines to support progress

Promote emotional regulation and positive behaviour

Work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and parents

Support with personal care, if required

Candidate Requirements:

Experience supporting children with SEN in school or care settings

A calm, proactive, and compassionate approach

Familiarity with EHCPs, autism strategies, or behaviour support techniques

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)

Right to work in the UK
