GSL Education is collaborating with an alternative provision in Bodmin seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team.

The school serves children and young adults aged 11-16 with SEMH, including those with Autism, ADHD, and challenging behaviors related to Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.

We seek compassionate and patient Teaching Assistants for full-time, long-term roles. Candidates should have an adaptable approach, a good sense of humor, and the ability to foster positive relationships with children, families, and staff.

Requirements

1. Experience supporting children with SEND (professional or personal)
2. Strong interpersonal skills to connect with children and their families
3. Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards supporting children with additional needs
4. Collaborative approach working alongside teachers, parents, and professionals
5. Availability to start ASAP on a full-time basis
6. Must have UK driving license and own car
