Job summary

The Graduate Network is seeking a SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant in Wolverhampton to support pupils with Autism, EBD and ADHD. You will work 1:1 and in small groups, under the SENCO and teaching staff, delivering tailored interventions to build communication and literacy/numeracy skills.

You are a reliable graduate with patience and clear communication, following plans and maintaining boundaries to foster a positive learning environment. DBS clearance is required or to be obtained.

Qualifications

• Degree – 2:2 or above in any subject.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Enhanced DBS held or willingness to obtain.
• Desire to work in education/SEN and pupil wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored SEN support alongside teachers, breaking tasks into manageable steps.
• Record progress notes and coordinate next actions with staff and parents to ensure consistency.
