Job summary

Morgan Hunt UK Ltd is seeking a dedicated SEN Functional Skills Tutor to deliver English and Maths Functional Skills up to level 2 for learners aged 16-24. This role uses blended learning with group sessions and one-to-one support to help learners achieve qualifications.

You will conduct initial assessments, create action plans, maintain a caseload, and tailor programmes to meet employer and learner needs. The role requires experience with SEND and delivering both in-person and remote training.

Qualifications

• Level 3 award in Education and Training (or equivalent).
• GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above (or equivalent).
• Experience delivering Functional Skills to young people aged 16-24.
• Experience delivering training face-to-face and remotely.
• Experience working with SEND or high-need learners.
• Effective self-management and workload management.

Responsibilities

• Organize and deliver Functional Skills lessons in English and Maths.
• Utilize digital delivery models for blended learning.
• Conduct initial assessments and create action plans for learners.
• Maintain a caseload of learners and monitor progress.
• Individualize programmes to meet needs of employers and learners.
• Participate in team meetings and standardization processes.
• Ensure accurate administration and compliance with data protection regulations.
