Job summary

Teaching Personnel in Skelmersdale is seeking dedicated SEN Classroom Support Assistants to work across specialist educational settings. You will support pupils with additional needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and speech and language difficulties, helping students access education and build confidence.

The role offers both full-time and part-time positions with ongoing training, DBS checks, and dedicated consultant support.

Qualifications

• Has experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable individuals.
• Is patient, resilient, and adaptable.
• Has a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
• Can build positive relationships and act as a positive role model.
• Team Teach training is desirable but not essential.
• Holds a DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one.

Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs? We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Classroom Support Assistants to work within specialist educational settings across Skelmersdale.

This rewarding role involves supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, speech and language difficulties, and other learning needs. You will play a key role in helping students access education, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.
