Job summary

Academics in Wirral are seeking committed SEN Classroom Support staff to work across a range of schools. This role is ideal for someone experienced in supporting children and young people and who wants to develop skills in both education and SEN settings.

• Experience working with children or young people, whether in a school, care, youth work, support or similar setting.
• Prior experience as SEN Classroom Support staff would be advantageous, but not essential.
• Some knowledge or experience of Autism, ADHD and challenging behaviour.
• A patient, calm and compassionate approach.
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to work as part of a supportive team.
• A genuine desire to help young people overcome barriers and achieve their goals.
