Job summary

Academics are seeking committed SEN Classroom Support staff to work across Wirral schools. This role is ideal for someone experienced with children and young people who wants to develop skills in both education and SEN settings.

You’ll help pupils feel confident and supported as every day brings new opportunities to assist learning, behaviour support, and personal development. The position offers flexible hours including full-time, part-time, or daily supply, with an enhanced background check

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Autism/ADHD beneficial.

What we’re looking for

SEN Classroom Support will ideally have:

• Experience working with children or young people, whether in a school, care, youth work, support or similar setting.
• Prior experience as SEN Classroom Support staff would be advantageous, but not essential.
• Some knowledge or experience of Autism, ADHD and challenging behaviour.
• A patient, calm and compassionate approach.
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to work as part of a supportive team.
• A genuine desire to help young people overcome barriers and achieve their goals.
