Easthorpe School in Nottinghamshire is seeking a SEN Class Teacher to join our expanding Lower School provision for pupils aged 7-13. You will plan and deliver high-quality lessons under the National Curriculum, supporting SEMH needs within a small team of teachers and teaching assistants.

The role is full-time, term-time only, with a basic salary up to £37,500 plus SEN Allowance £2,679. We offer a supportive environment, DBS check funded by the school, and opportunities for professional

Qualifications

• Requires QTS and a degree-level qualification.
• Experience teaching pupils with SEMH desirable.
• Strong understanding of the examination process and admission to examinations procedures.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.

Responsabilités

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons under the National Curriculum across primary/secondary levels while meeting SEMH needs.
• Support the class team in facilitating learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviours.
• Report on pupils' progress and liaise with school staff to meet pupils' needs.
• Supervise pupils during non-classroom time, including trips and extracurricular activities.
• Build positive relationships with pupils to encourage interaction and learning outcomes.
• Assist the Exams Officer with planning, organisation and administration of examinations.
