Job summary

Ash Field Academy in Leicester is seeking a SEN Class Teacher for Casual Engagement to deliver the curriculum appropriate to the age and needs of pupils with SEND. The role offers a competitive salary on the Main Pay Scale (£32,916 - £45,352) for a casual arrangement, with status subject to Discovery Schools Trust pay and conditions.

The successful candidate will have QTS, relevant teaching experience, and strong interpersonal and organisational skills, and will be committed to supporting the

  • Qualified to degree level including Qualified Teacher Status.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver the curriculum as relevant to the age and ability group/subject.
  • Prepare and develop teaching materials and pastoral arrangements as appropriate.
  • Be accountable for the attainment, progress and outcomes of pupils you teach.
  • Differentiate appropriately to build on pupils’ knowledge and prior learning.
