Long Term Futures is recruiting for a Behaviour Mentor at a specialist SEN school in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire (WD6). The role is full-time, long-term with potential to become permanent, delivering 1:1 mentoring and pastoral support to pupils needing emotional regulation and engagement guidance.

Successful candidates will provide consistent mentoring, build trusting relationships, and collaborate with teachers and pastoral staff while following safeguarding policies.

Qualifikationen

• Previous behaviour mentoring or relevant school-based experience.
• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualifications encouraged to apply.
• Enhance DBS check or willingness to complete one.

Aufgaben

• Provide consistent 1:1 behaviour mentoring to pupils.
• Develop positive relationships and support emotional wellbeing.
• Recognise behavioural triggers and teach coping strategies.
• Observe and report changes in pupil engagement to staff.
