Job summary

Milk Education is excited to recruit a SEN Behaviour & Learning Mentor to support pupils with additional needs across Guildford and the surrounding Surrey area. This role focuses on helping students engage with learning, build confidence and develop positive behaviours.

You will provide 1:1 and small-group support, implement behaviour strategies, and collaborate with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral teams to support individual learning plans, promoting a calm, inclusive classroom environment

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people (education, SEN, youth work, coaching, care, mentoring, or similar).
• A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
• A positive, patient, and proactive approach.

Responsibilities

As a Behaviour & Learning Mentor, you'll play a key role in helping students overcome behavioural challenges, engage positively with learning, and build confidence both in and out of the classroom.
