Teaching Personnel’s TP Tutors division in Northampton seeks experienced SEN 1:1 tutors to provide personalised tuition to pupils with SEND in Northamptonshire. Sessions occur at homes, schools or community settings during school hours, Monday to Friday. Roles offer flexible part-time and full-time opportunities with travel between tuition locations.

The role focuses on helping pupils rebuild confidence and achieve progress through tailored, one-to-one support with EHCP targets where applicable.

Qualifikationen

• Two years minimum UK teaching experience.
• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND.
• Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum and differentiated teaching strategies.
• Excellent communication, behaviour management and relationship-building skills.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, or ability to travel between locations.
• Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK.

• Deliver engaging, personalised 1:1 tuition tailored to each pupil’s needs.
• Adapt teaching strategies and resources for SEND needs.
• Plan and deliver lessons promoting progress, confidence and independence.
• Monitor pupil progress and complete session reports.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, families, schools and professionals.
• Encourage resilience and positive attitudes towards learning.
• Create a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Support pupils toward EHCP targets where applicable.
