Job summary

Fulcrum Engineering & Technical is seeking Electricians Skilled, Improvers and Semi Skilled/Mates with IPAF for installation, maintenance and fab shop work in Bedford. Work includes installing cable trays, racking and cables, plus use of mobile platforms at height on conveyors and process machinery.

Typical shifts 07:00–17:30 or 07:00–19:00, with 48–55+ hours Mon–Fri as required and occasional 06:00–13:30 Sat. Term: Temp Contract 5–8 weeks; pay rates vary by role and may include weekend premiums.

Responsibilities

• Installing electrical cable tray, racking, and cables.
• Using Mobile Platforms to work at height.
• Working on safe removal of electrical systems and larger items such as conveyors and plant machinery.
• Assisting with checks and reinstatement fitting work.
• Fab shop work and possible installation duties when busy.

Electricians Skilled & Improvers & Semi Skilled/Mates with IPAF

Working Install & Maintenance Work.

Installing electrical cable tray, racking, cables.

Using Mobile Platforms to work at height.

Working on the safe removal of electrical systems & .

larger items such as Conveyor Lines, Process Machinery, Palletiser Machines & Robot, Motor & Pump Units

Moving from work place areas to lay down areas.

Then assisting with completing checks and reinstatement fitting work.

Also semi skilled applicants can apply if they can cover most of the work depending on their skill set. Working mainly in the Fab Shop some workers may be asked to help out when really busy on installation work on factories/process plants.

Hours = 0700 to 1730 or to 1900 48 to 55 + hours Mon to Fri as required

Also might work 0600 or 0700 to 1330 Sat as required

Term = Temp Contract 5 to 8 weeks & Contract Temp

Pay Temp Contract - Electrician Skilled = £27 per Hr Mon to Fri, £33 per Hr Sat, Improver/Skilled = £21 + per hr up to 60 hrs £26 + per hr Sat Depending on Skills/Quals Fork Ops £19 to £22 per hr and Semi Skilled Mates = £17 to £20 + hr & £21 to £24 per hr Sat

Travel Pay = Maybe depending on distance from personal address to Site

Lodge Pay = Maybe depending on distance from personal address to Site
