Job summary

Fulcrum Engineering is recruiting electricians and improvers for temporary 5 to 8 week contracts in Norwich. Roles include skilled electricians and semi-skilled mates, with IPAF experience preferred. Working hours are 07:00–17:30 (or 19:00) Monday to Friday, with potential Saturday shifts.

Pay ranges from £17 to £33 per hour depending on skill level and day, with travel and lodge pay potentially offered. This is a temp contract position based in a fab shop and on installation projects in

Qualifications

• Experience in installation work or skilled trade preferred.
• Must be able to work at heights and operate mobile platforms.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical cable tray, racking and cables.
• Use mobile platforms to work at height.
• Assist with removal of electrical systems and components.
• Work with larger items such as conveyors, process machinery, palletisers, robots, motors and pumps.
• Move between work areas and lay down areas.
• Assist with checks and reinstatement fitting work.
• Fab shop work may be required during busy periods on installations.

Working Install & Maintenance Work.

Installing electrical cable tray, racking, cables.

Using Mobile Platforms to work at height.

Working on the safe removal of electrical systems & .

larger items such as Conveyor Lines, Process Machinery, Palletiser Machines & Robot, Motor & Pump Units

Moving from work place areas to lay down areas.

Then assisting with completing checks and reinstatement fitting work.

Also semi skilled applicants can apply if they can cover most of the work depending on their skill set. Working mainly in the Fab Shop some workers may be asked to help out when really busy on installation work on factories/process plants.

Hours = 0700 to 1730 or to 1900 48 to 55 + hours Mon to Fri as required

Also might work 0600 or 0700 to 1330 Sat as required

Term = Temp Contract 5 to 8 weeks & Contract Temp

Pay Temp Contract - Electrician Skilled = £27 per Hr Mon to Fri, £33 per Hr Sat, Improver/Skilled = £21 + per hr up to 60 hrs £26 + per hr Sat Depending on Skills/Quals Fork Ops £19 to £22 per hr and Semi Skilled Mates = £17 to £20 + hr & £21 to £24 per hr Sat

Travel Pay = Maybe depending on distance from personal address to Site

Lodge Pay = Maybe depending on distance from personal address to Site
