We are actively recruiting for a good job opportunity with an accountancy firm in Gainsborough, available at a Semi-Senior level and Senior level. Full job details can be found below. The salary is negotiable, it will of course depend on experience and qualification level and is open within reason.

Study support can be offered for people taking AAT/ACA/ACCA qualifications, but applicants without qualifications who have the right work experience are encouraged to apply.

The position is available for both ambitious candidates and those happier to do a steady, long-term job.

Key Responsibilities:

This role will predominantly focus on the following for a small portfolio of clients. The frequency varies between clients of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly service;

• Bookkeeping
• VAT Returns
• Payroll
• Management Reporting
• Financial Accounts at year end
• Director Tax Returns

Due to the nature of the above and the level of experience we are looking for, the candidate will have autonomy over their workload, managing the client deadlines and reporting to and receiving support from the director. However, there is the opportunity and requirement to complete other accounts and personal tax returns, on an ad-hoc basis in times of lower work commitment to those clients.
