Bk Plus in Llanelli is seeking a Semi-Senior/Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be part qualified or QBE with experience in an accountancy practice, handling year-end accounts and tax returns for diverse clients.

You will review junior work, manage a client portfolio, and report to the Partner. Strong communication and initiative are essential as is proficiency in Word/Excel and cloud software like Sage and Xero.

Qualifikationen

• Good communication skills are essential to liaise with clients by phone or email.
• Ability to work under pressure and under own initiative is essential.
• Part qualified ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience required.
• Minimum 4 years experience in an accountancy practice.
• Experience with Word and Excel is essential.
• Experience with cloud-based software such as Sage and Xero is required.
• Training on CCH is advantageous but not mandatory.

As an Accountant you will be involved in the following:

Preparing year-end accounts for a range of clients including limited companies, sole traders, partnerships and charities in accordance with FRS102, FRS 105 & other applicable standards.

Providing support to, and developing junior members

Review the work of juniors, resolving technical queries, and having your own portfolio of clients to manage

Preparing and submitting corporation tax returns and self-assessment tax returns

Report directly to the Partner

Good communication skills are essential as there will be regular contact with clients either via the telephone or email.

Ability to work under pressure and under own initiative essential

The Ideal Accountant:

• Will have a minimum of 4 years experience in an accountancy practice
• ACA / ACCA part qualified OR Qualified By Experience
• Up to date with accounting training and CPD requirements
• Experience on Word and Excel are essential
• Experience on CCH advantageous but training will be provided if not
• Experience on cloud based software such as Sage and Xero is required
• Be able to review work, provide support & training to junior team members
