Job summary

BID Leamington Ltd in Leamington Spa is seeking a committed Semi Senior Accountant who enjoys building client relationships and taking ownership, not just ticking boxes. This all-encompassing role offers exposure to a wide range of financial elements and real scope for development.

You’ll work with clients on year-end accounts, VAT/CIS returns, and bookkeeping, with funded study support, a 2pm finish on Fridays, and a modern, friendly office that supports growth and a vibrant team culture.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within an accountancy practice.
• AAT qualified and/or actively studying towards ACA (ICAEW) or ACCA qualifications.
• IT skills including Excel and any accounts software (Sage, Xero, QuickBooks etc)
• High levels of attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Managing a diverse range of clients, providing guidance and advice to clients
• Financial Year-end accounts, ensuring relevant financial reporting standards are adhered to
• Preparation of year-end accounts, management accounts and bookkeeping
• Completion and submission of VAT & CIS returns
• Other ad hoc all round accounting tasks.
