Job summary

Vaisto Recruitment Ltd in Warrington is seeking a Semi Senior Accountant (ACA/ACCA Study Support). You will work directly with directors on a varied, high-net-worth client base and gain hands-on exposure from bank analysis to draft accounts.

Qualifications

• 4+ years general practice experience in accounting.
• Studying towards ACA or ACCA.

Responsibilities

• Get involved in the full process of preparing financial statements for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships — from bank and portfolio analysis through to draft accounts.
• Assist with quarterly loan interest calculations, and the preparation and submission of VAT returns.
• Support with Companies House filings and related statutory work.
• Exposure to trust accounts as you progress — full training and support given.
• Respond to client queries under guidance, building confidence with a loyal, largely HNW client base.
• Get involved in client meetings with opportunities to travel to clients across the North West, North Wales, Shropshire and Derbyshire.
• Assist the directors with ad hoc work, such as preparing documentation for client finance applications.
• Help prepare cashflows and budgets, and learn the firm's AML processes for new and existing clients.
• Work closely with experienced directors who will teach the reasoning behind the numbers, not just the software steps.
