Job summary

Curtis Recruitment Limited is seeking a Semi Senior Accountant for a firm of accountants near Maidenhead. The role suits someone who is part qualified ACCA, ACA, or AAT, with at least a year’s UK practice experience.

You will support seniors with statutory and management accounts, tax/VAT work, bookkeeping and payroll during busy periods, plus company secretarial and ad hoc duties. A study package and mentoring support progression.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a UK accountancy practice.
• Part-qualified ACCA/ACA/AAT or studying toward a qualification.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• IT literate with experience of QuickBooks, Sage and/or Xero.

Responsibilities

• Statutory accounts preparation and assisting senior team.
• Management accounts preparation.
• Assisting with tax and VAT work.
