bk plus is recruiting a Semi Senior Accountant to join our team in Sheerness, England. You will prepare limited company accounts, draft statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and small limited companies, and liaise with clients, HMRC and colleagues to resolve queries.

Responsibilities

We are currently recruiting for a Semi Senior Accountant to join our team based in Sherness.

As a Semi Senior Accountant your role will involve:

• Preparing limited company accounts
• Preparing and submitting statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and small limited companies
• Effectively liaise with clients, HMRC and colleagues to resolve queries.
• Preparation of self-assessment tax returns (an advantage)
• Reviewing and submitting VAT returns

The Ideal Semi Senior Accountant:

• Will have experience working in an accountancy practice
• Have experience working with SME clients
• Be computer literate and have experience using accounting software such as CCH, Sage, Xero
