bk plus is recruiting a Semi Senior Accountant to join our team in Sheerness, England. You will prepare limited company accounts, draft statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and small limited companies, and liaise with clients, HMRC and colleagues to resolve queries.

Qualifications

• Experience working in an accountancy practice.
• Experience with SME clients.
• Proficient with accounting software such as CCH, Sage, Xero.

Responsibilities

• Prepare limited company accounts.
• Prepare and submit statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and small limited companies.
• Liaise with clients, HMRC and colleagues to resolve queries.
• Prepare self-assessment tax returns (advantage).
• Review and submit VAT returns.
