Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts.
• Assist with management accounts production.
• Complete personal tax, corporate tax and VAT returns.
• Bookkeeping using Xero or QuickBooks.
• Mentor junior staff and trainees.

TPF Recruitment, Kent's leading accountancy practice recruitment agency is recruiting on behalf of a top tier firm of Accountants, based in Folkestone, for a Semi Senior Accountant in a general practice position covering accounts, tax, bookkeeping, and VAT.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of statutory accounts
• Assisting with management accounts production
• Personal tax, corporate tax and VAT returns
• General bookkeeping duties using Xero or QuickBooks
• Coaching and mentoring junior staff members and trainees

Requirements

• 2-5 years experience within an accountancy practice
• Part-qualified or qualified AAT/ACA/ACCA, or qualified by experience
• Hands‑on experience of accounts, tax and VAT preparation
