Job summary

TPF Recruitment Ltd is representing a Kent-based Chartered Accountants firm seeking an Accounts Assistant/Semi Senior Accountant to join a busy general practice. The role covers accounts, tax, bookkeeping and VAT across multiple client sectors.

The ideal candidate will have 1–5 years of practice experience and be studying AAT/ACCA or qualified by experience, with hands-on experience using Sage, Xero or QuickBooks. A 35-hour week and auto-enrolment pension are on offer.

• You will have hands-on experience in accounts, tax and VAT preparation.

Based in Margate, TPF Recruitment is working on behalf of a great local firm of Chartered Accountants who are looking for an Accounts Assistant/ Semi Senior Accountant to join their team in a general practice position across accounts, tax, bookkeeping and VAT. Our client is a multi-sited firm of chartered accountants and they have been established in the Kent market for many years. They're looking for an Accounts Assistant/ Semi Senior or somebody who is studying the AAT or ACCA to join them in a progressive and rewarding career. Given the nature of the business, there are great internal progression prospects on offer too.

You will be responsible for:
