An award winning, modern and successful accountancy firm in Burton-upon-Trent are seeking a Semi Senior accountant within their accounts production team.

The clients cover a broad cross section of markets and this should be an enjoyable role reporting into a Manager.

Salaries and benefits will totally depend on the individual and the firm will put together a competitive and attractive package for the right person. They are keen to keep the salary banding open at the moment to ensure they do not miss anyone potentially suited. A guide to salary is included in the job specification but this may move slightly for the right person.

Responsibilities:

• To prepare a set of accounts (unincorporated or incorporated) from complete or incomplete records and to be able to make notes.
• To supervise and assist trainees.
• To understand and apply basic accounting ratios.
• Analytical review.
• Working with other complementary teams in the delivery of services to clients.
