Job summary

Remedy Education seeks experienced Tutors and Teachers to deliver 1:1 and small-group tuition across schools, homes, libraries, community venues and online. You will support learners with gaps, SEND/SEMH needs and motivation through engaging, personalised sessions.

We value patient, adaptable tutors with strong English and Maths knowledge, excellent communication and the ability to build positive relationships with students. Remain flexible for varied locations and settings.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering 1:1 or small-group tuition.
• Strong knowledge of English and Maths.
• Patient, positive and adaptable approach.
• Ability to build rapport with learners.
• Good communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging, structured and personalised tuition.

Remedy Tutors are looking for experienced and dedicated Tutors and Teachers to support young people across a range of tuition assignments.

We work with schools, local authorities and families to provide 1:1 and small-group tuition in a variety of settings, including home, community venues, libraries, schools and online.

The role

We re looking for tutors who can provide engaging, structured and personalised tuition, while building positive relationships with learners.

You may be supporting young people who:

• Need additional support with their learning
• Have gaps in their education
• Benefit from 1:1 or small-group tuition
• Require a flexible and personalised approach
• Need support with confidence, engagement or motivation
• Have SEND or SEMH needs

We're looking for people with:

• Experience delivering 1:1 or small-group tuition
• Strong knowledge of relevant subjects, particularly English and Maths
• A patient, positive and adaptable approach
• The ability to build rapport and engage young people
• Good communication and organisational skills
• An understanding of differentiated and personalised learning
• Relevant teaching, tutoring or educational experience
• QTS, PGCE, teaching qualification or relevant experience is desirable
