Protocol Education is seeking caring SEMH Teaching Assistants to provide one-to-one and classroom-based support for secondary pupils aged 11 to 16 with complex SEMH needs in Bristol.
Full or part-time roles are available with flexible scheduling; training and ongoing support will be provided to help you thrive in your role and build student independence.
We offer weekly PAYE pay, access to our CPD Academy, a dedicated local consultant and opportunities across mainstream and SEND provisions.
We're looking for caring, enthusiastic SEMH Teaching Assistants (or aspiring) to provide one-to-one and classroom-based support for Secondary Mainstream School pupils (aged 11 to 16) with complex social, emotional and mental health needs, helping them thrive, build confidence and develop their independence in school. Whether you're already experienced in SEMH, or you're keen to start a rewarding career supporting children with additional needs (e.g. anxiety, emotional dysregulation, etc), we'd love to hear from you. Previous experience is helpful, but it's not essential, as full training and ongoing support will be provided.
You’ll work alongside experienced SEMH Teaching Assistants, teachers and SENDCOs as part of a supportive team, providing personalised support that helps children access learning and enjoy their Secondary School experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
