Job summary

Supply Heroes seeks a Pastoral Coordinator – SEMH, Trauma Support & Thrive Manager to lead wellbeing provision in a school. You will drive SEMH strategies, coordinate trauma-informed practices and oversee attendance and inclusion initiatives, working with pupils, families and external agencies.

The role requires senior pastoral experience, strong communication and organisational skills, with line management of wellbeing staff and a commitment to safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Experience within pastoral support, inclusion, SEMH or safeguarding.
• Experience supporting children and young people with SEMH needs.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed approaches and strategies.
• Strong attendance intervention and pupil engagement understanding.

Responsibilities

• Lead SEMH and Thrive provision and coordinate wellbeing support.
• Assess pupil needs, coordinate interventions, monitor impact.
• Oversee attendance improvement and engagement strategies.
• Line manage pastoral and wellbeing staff and develop team capability.
• Coordinate multi-agency support with families and external services.
• Maintain records, analyse data, and report to senior leaders.
