Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking an SEMH Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Kingston and Surrey. You will provide 1:1 and small-group support, helping with emotional regulation and behaviour while working closely with teachers and pastoral teams to keep pupils engaged in learning.

Ideal candidates will have experience in education, youth work, care or related fields, and a passionate approach to helping young people overcome barriers to learning.

Qualifications

• Support children and young people with SEMH needs.
• Build trusting relationships with pupils.
• Use positive behaviour strategies to encourage progress.
• Collaborate with teachers and pastoral teams.
• Experience in education, youth work, care or similar environment is valued.
