Job summary

Qualiteach Education Group Ltd is seeking a patient SEMH Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 5-16 in a specialist SEMH setting in Croydon. You will work with teachers to provide 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils manage emotions, improve behaviour and access learning.

The role is full time with an immediate start and offers a daily rate of £95-£115 depending on experience in a school judged Good by Ofsted.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting pupils with SEMH or behavioural needs.
• Experience working within a SEMH school, PRU or alternative provision desirable.
• Must be confident supporting behaviour, emotional regulation and learning.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils aged 5-16 within a specialist SEMH setting.
• Provide 1:1 and small-group support alongside teachers and pastoral staff.
• Help pupils manage their emotions, improve behaviour and access learning.
• Implement behaviour strategies and promote positive relationships.
