Job summary

Qualiteach Education Group is partnering with a specialist SEMH school in Wandsworth to recruit an SEMH Teaching Assistant for an immediate start. The role focuses on supporting pupils aged 11-16 with social, emotional and mental health needs, delivering 1:1 and small-group support, and helping students engage with learning.

You will work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to implement behaviour strategies, support emotional regulation, and use de-escalation techniques to promote

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEMH or behavioural needs.
• Experience in a SEMH school/PRU desirable.
• Confident supporting behaviour, emotional regulation and learning.
• Full-time ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils aged 11-16.
• Help pupils manage emotions, improve behaviour and access learning.
