TeacherActive is recruiting an SEMH Teaching Assistant for a full-time, long-term position in Failsworth starting October. You will support pupils with SEMH needs and help manage challenging behaviour throughout the school day.

The OFSTED-rated Good alternative provision offers a supportive environment, CPD opportunities and competitive PAYE rates. Daily pay ranges from £92.63 to £110, with a straightforward onboarding process.

Qualifications

• Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification desirable.
• Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH needs.
• Experience managing challenging behaviour.
• Strong behaviour management skills.
• Patient, resilient and adaptable approach.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils.
